Hi Hans,

Thanks to Max for his comments.

As a result I would like to amend the list as follows:

Print III Pos. 15 - should be OF81 not OF9.
Pos. 25 - this line is a typo error and should be deleted.

Print IX Pos. 78 - I still think OF58 and not OF51.

Print XII Pos. 99 - OF30 as per Max M. The TOFDATA incorrectly shows OF58.

Regards,

Ed

Hello Ed,

Here are some more comments about about your discoveries:

25ø1 pos. 17, OF.30: the dot in R is already mentioned by Lasse Nielsen , pg. 610.

25ø1 pos. 74, OF.39,  also 25ø3 pos. 23 and 25ø6 pos. 53 (IV/53 is obviously a typing error,

As you correctly stated further down, that OF.39 can be found on 25ø4 pos. 64): yes!

(Because the white dot above P is only visible from print 2.)

For comparison I have attached a scan with the three positions in question.

Please also note some other flaws on this cliché:

 - a white dot between D and A of DANMARK (not visible in print 2)

 - a white dot between the legs of K (from print 3)

 - partly color filling in R of ØRE (from print 3)

 - a rather thick oval-line under OSTF

Please see scan 25o-of39-BS.jpg in the buttom of this text

25ø2 pos. 4, OF.56 + OM.2: yes!

25ø2 pos. 42: in both full-sheets of the Post & Tele Museum Denmark there is a small break in the oval-line under F,

so I agree with Max Madsen on OF.97 + OM.3. The same cliché can be found on 25ø3 pos. 42!?

25ø3 pos. 15, OF.81 yes! Instead of 25ø3 pos. 46, this changes to OF.72.

25ø3 pos. 45, OF.79 yes! Instead of 25ø3 pos. 72, this changes to OF.101.

TOFDATA erroneously gives both 25ø3 45 and 25ø3 72 as OF.79?!

25ø3 pos. 64, OF.115: ?? - at least not visible in the full sheet of the P&TMD.

You should send a scan of your copy WITH this OF.

25ø7 pos. +, OF.119 RM.5A (or print VI?): Should be print 7.

I think, that OF.119 can be found on 25ø6 pos. 55 (without RF and RM). Please check out!

25ø8 pos. +, OF.46: What about pos. 81(RF.31.81), the only left "grey field" in this print?

25ø8 pos. 70, OF.84: yes! I found it in a three-strip 25ø8 pos. 68-70.

25ø9 pos. 78, OF.58: Doubtful, the white spot under D seems to be placed a little bit too far to the left (ca. 0,2mm) ?!

Do you have a copy, where the dent in the oval-line in west is clearly visible?

And have you noticed the break of the oval-line above R?

But it is of course definitely NOT OF.51, which (still) can be found on 25ø9 pos. 50 -

Please see Lasse Nielsen pg. 611, TOFDATA and the full-sheet 25øre9.TIF * Helark.

25ø11 pos. 94, OF.88: yes!

Mange hilsener! Bernd

Hello Ed

I agree with you about 25ø2 pos.42 being OF.94 (Max and Bernd both say OF.97). OF.94 has an additional flaw, a white dot to the left of the upper bow of the small 2.
(More or less clearly seen in all prints). 25ø9 pos.35 should be changed from OF.97 to OF.94.

Sincerely Lasse Nielsen

Hej Lasse, hej Ed,

The additional sign for OF.94 is convincing - I agree! And there is even one more (almost constant) sign on this OF:
a white dot under the space between R and E of ØRE / see scan!

Here are three of the still missing positions: 25ø3 pos. 88, 25ø6 pos. 41, 25ø8 pos. 8.

Mange hilsener! Bernd
